FOUNDER'S VISION
LI LIN
Co-Founder, Executive Director, and Chief Creative Officer of JIANGNANBUYI Group, Li Lin oversees the overall aesthetics and concepts for all the labels, and she leads the design and innovation process in the company. In 1994, Li Lin began selling womenswear in Hangzhou, and she gradually created and developed her own designs. Li Lin and Wu Jian opened their first retail store that carried Li Lin’s own designs in 1996. They established the company JNBY Hangzhou in 1997.
Li Lin is a member of the International Council at Tate and the Museum of Modern Art. She is also part of the Art Basel's Global Patrons Council. Li Lin has been listed in Artnews’ Top 200 Collectors since 2016. Li Lin graduated from Zhejiang University with a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 1992.
